How to Listen to Q Radio

Q Radio is streamed using mp3 technology, an audio format that is accessible through Windows and Mac platforms.

When the Q Radio Player is launched through your web browser, the live stream will start to play automatically. If playback does not occur, please check that your computer has the following software installed:

Minimum Requirements for Windows users

• Operating System: Windows 2000 or higher
• Web browser: depending on your preferred web browser the minimum versions are as follows:
  • Internet Explorer, version 6 or higher
  • Firefox, version 2+
  • Opera, version 9+
  • Safari, version 3+

Other Information

Trying to listen from outside the UK?

Current UK music licensing laws prevent us from offering radio station listen-live and listen-again streams outside of the UK. Visitors to Q Radio who are trying to listen from outside the United Kingdom will find that the website will load but the listen-live stream will not play.
